Dear Mr. Ray,

I apologize for not contacting you sooner, but things have been extremely hectic at school and with getting everything finalized.

I just wanted to thank you again for the assistance you gave me concerning my computer and dealing with APC regarding a faulty power surge. After I sent APC the unit and after about three months of their testing, the results came back negative, that the power surge unit was operating without fault.

Soon after I received this bad news, I contacted Dell and dealt with their pathetic customer and technical support.

They consistently told me that it was definitely either a power surge or that one of the parts inside the computer was damaged. To fix the computer, they were going to send me a replacement part by part until the entire computer was basically replaced. Obviously, this would take months, and I did not have the time to do this!

I then told them that I had been to a professional computer consultant and how your analysis determined that the computer was nothing more than an oversized paperweight. Amazingly enough, they accepted a faxed copy of the analysis and promptly sent me a brand new computer, which was over two times as powerful as the one I previously had.

I seriously think that had you not helped me, I would still be stuck with a broken computer and in a constant battle with Dell. Your help not only expedited the whole process, but they took care of me in a way I had never expected.

Again, I just wanted to express my appreciation for the gratis troubleshooting of the whole issue. I hope things are going well for you and your company.
