Neuse River Networks Invites People To Check Out Triangle Open Source Lab |
|
Jim Ray, President of Neuse River Networks, is happy to invite anyone who is interested in Open Source technology to join the Triangle Open Source Lab. Meetings normally are held on the fourth Thursday each month from 7 PM to 9 PM at Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC. The meeting in January was a success. The Triangle Open Source Lab worked on configuring a virtual machine to handle a phone system from a twenty-five dollar laptop. The system allowed them to get a dial tone and there is a step-by-step guide to what they did at http://www.triangleopensource.org. “These meetings are really about fun while we also get to work on interesting projects.” Jim Ray, President of Neuse River Networks. Neuse River Networks specializes in proactive computer networking solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. Since 1997, Neuse River Networks has been evolving with the ever-changing needs of the IT world. Based in Raleigh, NC, Neuse River Networks focuses on Managed Services, IT Outsourcing and Support, and Network Communications Systems for Voice, Video, and Data.
