Neuse River Networks inks deal with Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union

RALEIGH, NC, March 12, 2009 – Neuse River Networks provides IT services for Charlotte-based Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union.

"It just made good business sense to outsource particular IT functions." Jim Ray, President of Neuse River Networks.

About Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union

In 1934, Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union began, by taking deposits in change and loose bills, stored in a box in one small office in Charlotte, NC. The credit union was formed by a small group of Bell System employees who saw an opportunity for accumulating their savings and creating a source of credit for member loans during those difficult years. Carolinas Telco is today led by 11 members of the Board of Directors and 85 staff members that carry out day to day functions and celebrates the 75th anniversary this month.
